The Story of Joe Bosco

Joe Bosco is a fictitious character and the mascot of our authentic smokehouse barbecue restaurant.

The name Joe Bosco, however, is a different story. Joe is the name of our dear father who lived to be 100. He impacted the lives of everyone that had the privilege to meet him. Bosco is the chocolate lab that we raised as a pup to full-grown. Joe and Bosco had a special bond so much so that Bosco passed on our Dad's birthday and shortly thereafter, our Dad Joe passed of old age,

The name, Joe Bosco, is a constant reminder to us of the love, humility, and kindness that these two special beings brought into our lives and that we hope to share with you through our food and hospitality.
